BUS 021 Business Environment

This unit aims to analyze the business organization as an open system and examine the external influences on the organization, including the political, legal, economic and socio-cultural factors at the international, national and industry levels.

Performance Requirements :

1. Examine the different factors and trends in the external environment that are likely to impact upon a proposed business organization.
2. Conduct a business analysis of the local and national environment.
3. Present a business environmental analysis and recommendations to reduce the risk of the identified issues.
4. Identify and analyse challenges in working, communicating and negotiation in a cross-cultural context.
