BUS 045 Organization Behavior

This unit examines the nature of individual and group employee behavior in the work environment, and the contemporary approaches to conflict resolution, communication, leadership, decision-making, motivation, power and politics, diversity, organizational culture and job satisfaction.

Performance Requirements :

1. Identify the organizational behavioral challenges of a particular firm.
2. Apply organizational behavior theories, principles and tactics to prevent OB problems.
3. Explain how personality, emotions, values, attitudes and perception influence behavior in organizations.
4. Discuss conflict management strategies that managers can be used to resolve organizational conflict effectively.
