This unit examines the nature of individual and group employee behavior in the work environment, and the contemporary approaches to conflict resolution, communication, leadership, decision-making, motivation, power and politics, diversity, organizational culture and job satisfaction.
Performance Requirements :
- Identify the organizational behavioral challenges of a particular firm.
- Apply organizational behavior theories, principles and tactics to prevent OB problems.
- Explain how personality, emotions, values, attitudes and perception influence behavior in organizations.
- Discuss conflict management strategies that managers can be used to resolve organizational conflict effectively.
