BUS 042 E-Commerce

This unit provides students with the concepts tools and skills to conduct business online. Topics include e-business models, digital infrastructure, virtual communities, payment systems, social media and security system.

Performance Requirements :

1. Analyze the impact of E – commerce on business models and strategies.
2. Describe the key features of Internet, Intranet and Extranet, and explain how they relate to each other.
3. Evaluate E-commerce markets and transactions considering laws, privacy and security.
4. Analyze features of existing E-commerce business, and propose future directions or innovations for specific business.
