This unit covers the fundamental concepts and analytical techniques on financial and managerial accounting, and the use of financial and managerial accounting information to analyse a firm’s financial positions in a critical manner.
Performance Requirements :
- Critically evaluate business performance and position of a particular firm, using information contained in financial statements.
- Analyse internal accounting information to evaluate working capital management performance of a firm.
- From cost and revenue data, apply appropriate techniques to implement budgets for a business.
- Apply the balanced scorecard to evaluate the business performance of particular firm.
